Cape Styling

Capes are the warmer and longer sisters of kimonos. Adding a cape can create a whole new element to a look. This season they are the perfect way to add an aspect of colour or simple styling. I have selected a few you need to get your hands on.

Styling Tips:

  1. When styling a cape avoid wearing anything wider than the cape, like a full circle skirt or wide culottes. A bodycon midi skirt, skinny jeans or strait leg pants are a perfect option.
  2. Capes are an excellent way to even out the length of anything high waisted paired with anything cropped. If you are like me (with long legs), trying to pair those can look a bit awkward at times, so adding a cape is a miracle worker.
