Thrifted Coat Styling

Hello beautifuls!
It's time for another thrifted styling post. I bought this blazer from my local Vinnies (Thrift Shop) for $5.00. Before styling I did a little updating and reshaping. I removed the shoulder pads, took in the sleeves and back of the coat. This created a more flattering silhouette.

When styling this coat I paired it with a plain black crop top and white pinafore. Choosing these pieces helps to shape a simple look, drawing more attention to the coat. Also continuing the monochrome fabrics help create a perfect match for the coat. Adding a patterned blazer to an outfit can create such a classic look.

I am currently obsessed with purple eye shadows. Darker purple shades are a gorgeous alternative to nude colours this Winter. For a more Summery look use some lighter purple shades with a darker shade of purple or brown in the crease.

Have a fabulous week.
