A Letter of Inspiration

Hello beautifuls,

Imagine a world where you can create your own designs and sell them to whoever you wanted all over the world.

Imagine a world where someone who's 14 is deciding what's in, not multimillion dollar companies.

Imagine a world where some who's 15 creates better style edits than advertising companies or journalists.

Sound familiar?  That's because it's our reality.  Things like this didn't happen 10, 15 years ago.  People are now starting to look at our generation and think, what do we do with these kids?  Quite frankly, I don't think they have a clue.

Here's the fun part.  Since they don't have a clue, we get to show them what we want to do and exactly how we are going to do it.  Now is literally one of the best times to do what you want to do with your life.  Forget the fact that someone might judge you.  Trust me, in about 5 years max. you will barely remember that person.  Forget the fact that it might be hard and take an incredibly long time.  If it's something you love with all  your heart, other things won't matter.

Good luck and be fabulous

How to: Style Layered Necklaces

It’s no secret that I have been completely infatuated with 90’s style this year.  Layered necklace are one of the simplest ways to achieve 90’s style.  Below is a couple incredible cute, easy to style layered necklaces to help you achieve this look.

When styling layered necklaces, like all other necklaces, it’s essential to that your shirt or dress, match the shape of the necklace.  Most layered necklaces will create a V-shape, so when styling, wear something that is a V-shape.  It’s as simple as that.  A chiffon V-shaped singlet or an opened button down blouse is perfect.
If you want to style with your own necklaces stick to these 4 steps.

How To: Style Layered Necklaces
1.       Keep the pieces simple.
Since you are layering, you don't want to go over the top.  Really fine changed and small  pieces create a simplistic elegance.

2.       Use the same coloured necklaces.
If you use the same coloured necklaces it is a lot more effect and gives the effect that they were bought together.  Using two pieces that are gold and one that is silver can result in a tacky look.
3.       Only have one statement piece.
Like any other form of style you only want to have one statement piece.  This will make sure that your necklaces aren’t over the top.  A larger pendant or a jewel is the perfect statement piece for this look.  Anything more than that and it can begin to look cluttered.
4.       Have varying lengths.
Ensure there is a decent space between each necklace.  One or two finger spaces is perfect.
Good luck styling

Contrast Styling

Contrast
I was absolutely inspired by these pointed toe stilettos from John Lewis.  They are the most incredible colour and the perfect way to add a pop of colour to a Spring look.  The Kenzo skirt creates a lux look through simple detailing of gorgeous fabric, complimenting the Alexander Wang tuxedo shirt.  The key to this look is simplicity.  As Coco Chanel said, "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take on thing off."
